Great little kit for custom sockets

I really dislike these tools but if you have a rusty round screw they really do save a life. I've found they work best with an extension using a hammer to hit the socket and a wrench to turn the socket. Worked on all 7 screws I had to use them on. An indispensable thing for those who turn the wrench.

Pros
  • Sockets and Socket Sets
Cons
  • Socket wrench required

Not sure how they will hold up over time but they had no problems, no damage or marks on the steel when removing two very striped and rusty bolts. Although I had to use a different head than the size of the bolt, once I found the right one, I attached the tube to my 12" socket and they came out right away. I've tried 6 and 12 point socket wrenches and then vices, channel locks and a pipe wrench and nothing would move them.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • I don't remember

Removed the lock nuts from my Jeep, took a hammer, comes with 26mm

They did the job I bought to remove the lock wheel nuts from my Jeep after removing the wrench tool. In fact, I've already managed to shoot 3, but the last 2 were more persistent. I bought this kit specifically for the 26mm, hoping it would push the rotating ring against the nut just enough to create tension, but it didn't work. I ended up using 22mm and 21mm sockets to make contact with the edge of the nut. I've hit 3 sizes hard with a frame hammer with no visible damage to the outside of the…

  • Custom Drive Heads
Cons
  • Wrinkled
