Looks like a solid radio

I originally liked this radio but it only lasted 2 years and then the gibberish on the display got stuck. This is a fairly common problem on TYT TH-9000D. I bought another one that still works but I'm not sure if it will hold up. Who knows.? You might get a good one, but I won't risk it again.

Pros
  • CB & Two Way Radios
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Powered by the Allenco 235t 220 platform. For the price, this setup has more features and 55W. With the help of additional software and a programming cable, it is very easy to program all the information of this beautiful machine and to to save. Thank you K9XOK.

Pros
  • Portable AV Device
Cons
  • Suitable for

good radio, just needs a few minor adjustments

This is a good radio, I bought 5 of these radios for members of our amateur radio club, they all gave excellent results. The only thing I have is that they need to work on their owner's manual. It could be better organized. but it is clear if you apply. I'll buy another one if needed, but I'm on the air for now, I have 220mhz versions.

Pros
  • radios
Cons
  • dull packaging

Excellent 1.25m radio

Excellent 24/7 radio on a very active AllStarLink system. This appears to have been fixed in later models, which you're likely to come across now. There are literally dozens if not hundreds of these radios operating 24/7 as repeaters and simplex hubs. See TYT TH-9000D panel on "Face Book" for more information.

  • Electronics
Cons
  • Can't remember

TYT 9000d Rules! best in CB and radio

worked on TYT 9000D 220 for a few weeks. Very happy with the radio. It took me a little while to figure out the programming. Once you understand the programming logic, the radio works great!

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • some difficulties
