Do not buy these screws. Please listen to me. I use a lot of self tapping screws. I bought them for a trailer. NOT screwed into 1/8" steel with no pilot hole. I had to buy real trailer deck bolts. Failure rate 50%. I'll give you the 75 I have left. Torx t30 nuts. I didn't read the fine print on them and they came with Phillips -Heads, which isn't good. The company hides that these aren't torx sockets. That's why they don't show the head picture. Buy torx pan head trailer bolts.

I used these screws to attach plywood to my roof. They attached to a 3/4 sheet of plywood and then to a 12 AWG steel support with little or no problem. I have a lot of these and am not afraid of my roof falling off. #10 gauge is really very strong, the coating is even and seems to stay on the screws after use. They are worth the time and money! I attached 2" x 6" pressure treated wood (1.5" actual thickness) to the body of a cattle trailer. The tip of the drill was not sharp or strong enough to cut through the angle iron crossbars, so pilot drilling was required.
