Great scissors. The body is made of painted metal, the blades are quite sharp. The scissors came in small sleeves, but all the sleeves were connected together. It was not possible to separate the shells without tearing the adjacent one, so the quality of the shell is not very good. The scissors AND the shells were also covered in some kind of machine grease, probably from production. but it was really awesome. Although the scissors seem to work fine.

I prefer the spring mechanism for use with shears and shears. I've had trouble finding good spring shears, the ones I've bought from reputable stores are just a joke. I tried one sniper from this pack and threw away the rest. They are sharp, easy to use and I couldn't be happier. I have scissors on all 4 of my sewing machines. Great no-frills pliers. I bought them to use for sewing/upholstery. They're very sharp and there's no way to lock them in the closed position, so you'll have to be a little more careful when trying to grab them. Ideal for threading and cutting lightweight fabrics or separate layers of heavier material. This is a great size for corner cuts when sewing pillows if you don't mind cutting the layers one at a time. Also cuts nails if left unattended. :)

Note to those who mention that they are coated in oil. Any solid metal blade MUST be oil coated. Unless you want them to rust and corrode over time. These cutters are perfect. I've been looking for these for a long time. I especially like the bold colors and how sharp they are. They cut the thread like butter. They are also the perfect size. I was worried I wouldn't get the same amount of each color because some people said I only got one color of one color and more other colors, but I got four of each color.
