Works exactly as advertised

I bought these to permanently plug into the USB charging ports on my sofa designed for seating next to the wedge chair in a 7 seater recliner with charging ports. Wedge clamp standard cable. Using these cords to connect regular cords to an extension cord eliminated the cord damage we often encountered. In addition, the performance is not reduced at all. This allows your phone or tablet to charge at the rate supported by the device.

Compact corner connector; some interference issues

Pros: These right-angle plugs are quite compact. The connector protrudes about 5/8 inch from the device it's connected to, which is less than other cables I've tried. The connectors provide a strong connection that won't come loose when the cable is moved (I've had this issue with other cables I've tried). Cons (may not be a problem for everyone, but in my case it was): - I found that the cable insulation doesn't seem to be perfect. Running USB cables for two computers side by side resulted in…

  • Not as thick as other picks

I was very excited at first but it soon went away. For some reason every external hard drive I have causes I/O errors when transferring large files. This includes the system backup. which is a HUGE problem. If I remove this right/left corner adapter, the problem goes away. When I/O fails, I can't even properly eject the drive to safely remove or access the USB. It just blocks the drive/port. This is likely the result of insufficient shielding or the material used to create multiple channels…

UPDATED December 30, 2016 These cables are unstable and don't work well at all with USB 3.0 hubs. My hard drives kept failing, my wired internet connection kept dropping, and I eventually traced the cause back to those cables. After I removed them, everything worked fine. The only reason these cables aren't rated 1 star is because they seem to work fine with a single WD MyPassport 2.5" USB 3.0 portable hard drive, which is odd. They were rejected and they have the exact same problem so I think…
