I've had the Aqua case in my MacBook foe for over a year now. It fits snugly and securely, provides access to all ports and looks even nicer (it looks more sky blue in the photo than it is actually aqua). It never showed up or gave me any problems. It's soft to the touch, never slips out of your hands as it doesn't shine and doesn't leave fingerprints. I put several sets of vinyl stickers on the body, they last 6-7 months. Very nice case. Smooth to the touch, easy to put on and easy to clean. I've been using it for a few months and haven't noticed any scratches. The advertised image is a bit misleading - you can't really see the apple through the sleeve (see attached images).

I'm a designer and my laptop is covered with stickers, which suits me 99%. When I was asked to submit a slideshow for my stepdad's funeral, I felt I needed a different look. I am very happy with how easy this sleeve is to put on and no one will notice my laptop has stickers because the material is opaque. I was expecting the Apple logo light to be visible, but it wasn't. Don't worry it did what I wanted it to and I haven't taken it off yet. This is a very beautiful galaxy scene.

I've had the same brand of lids for a while and I love them. The old one wore out after a while so I bought the same new one a few days ago. Unfortunately, the new case I received is a detective case. The back of the case cover makes a click when I open and close the cover (see video). I suspect the noise is caused by the bottom wedge touching the back of the laptop lid (see photo). Unfortunately I tried to fix the wedge but it didn't help. Now I can't return it ;-(
