Had great potential but fell short with less than secure seams.

This blanket is the perfect weight and very soft. A noticeable tear developed along a seam with very light use in a small amount of time, which explains the three stars. The weight does redistribute with use but if you make your bed each day or reposition the blanket this is kept to a minimum.

  • Cover is super soft and easy to remove for washing. Nice weight.
Cons
  • The cost of the blanket may be prohibitive for some users, especially if they are not sure if they will benefit from the weighted blanket experience

Not great craftmanship!

Update: Feb. 2021.blanket was great for first 9mo. -1 yr then suddenly noticed all of the sand or beads have all fallen to the edges. nothing left in center. defeats purpose! Bought this for my daughter. She has some anxiety and sleep issues from the anxiety. She absolutely loves it! Said she slept great the first night of use. Wish it had more straps to keep it more secure but works fine.

  • This blanket makes me feel snug and secure, almost like a hibernation. I sleep ao much better

  • If the blanket is not stored correctly, the glass beads may spill out, leading to a mess and potential safety hazards

Moneys worth: my feedback

Out of pkg. Blanket it soft and feels great! I'll try it out for a WHILE and give more details about the sleep quality. But so far it's really nice and seems worth the money.

This blanket hurts my back and shoulders!

This blanket is awful! It’s listed as 15lbs, but when I measured it on my scale it’s closer to 18lbs. The first night I slept with it I woke up with really bad shoulder and back pain. I’m around 170lbs. I cannot get used the weight. The weight hurts me even though my body weight is more than appropriate for the blanket. The blanket is soft, but it’s not comfortable to sleep with.

Snug as a Bug in a Rug (So Comfortable)

We love it. It was originally bought for the wife. However, our 3 teenage boys fight over it and Mom has to pull rank to get it (Always a fight).You are instantly relaxed & warmOur advice is - ALWAYS to buy the cover to go with it.

Really helped with sleeping through the night

A family member has been having trouble falling and staying asleep through the night due to anxiety issues. Someone recommended a weighted blanket, and I liked the fact that this one has small pockets of glass beads, so I don’t need to worry about icky "stuff” growing in it if I wash it, and it came with a soft washable cover, so I should t have to wash it! The blanket has helped my family member sleep better, and the blanket and cover both seem to be well made. Good, strong seams, with no gaps

The best Christmas gift from my husband

I received this as a Christmas gift so my review is based on 2 weeks of ownership.I am happy with the construction of both the blanket and cover - the seams look to be sewn well and durable.I have the 15lb blanket, I'm 5'7" and 165lbs. I would love to get a 20lb for those rougher days but can only afford one. I'm happy with the blanket, I love the blanket. I'm trying to get my husband and teenage kids to try it.

Love My Blanket for my opinion

My Dr recommend a weighted blanket for my insomnia and anxiety. I was hesitant, but took the chance. I am so happy with my new "best friend”. Well worth the investment!
