Great little model, exciting and fun. With 439 pieces, it's quite difficult, but worth it. You'll cut toothpicks and tie rubber bands, so be patient. If you want your car to work, not just look good, you need to take your time. Sand and wax any parts that rub against each other. Use a soft candle wax and apply it with an old toothbrush. This worked very well for me. To remove the pieces from the board, place the board on a folded small towel and then slide the piece out. Before assembling the roadster I prepared the following: > paint some sheet metal dark/honey > let them dry a day After that it took about 10 hours to assemble the car in a few days. The result looks very good on painted panels. I advise anyone putting this together to first prepare specific panels in the color of the wood. the result looks ten times better than if it had not been colored. See attached picture. This makes the roadster stand out behind the incline.

This is my fourth Ugears model. Follow the instructions carefully and watch the YouTube video. I enjoyed building it but I made a mistake with the brake bands so I couldn't get it to work. So I took apart some of them and fixed what I did. The main problem was the toothpicks. It was a lot of fun putting this 3D puzzle together. Roadster VM-01 is very well detailed. Doors and hood work. The front wheels are steerable and have independent suspension. Some improvements could be made to the way the wings are attached. Until they fall off, they don't stay firmly assembled. The tolerances associated with console shifting seem to be too tight. I made several models of gears and was very satisfied. However, the Roadster annoys me because it sometimes feels unusually dry and brittle. They are too delicate and difficult to work with, especially part 2. At least 3 just broke and fell apart when I tried to put them in place.
