Unfortunately neither of these two connectors worked for me. I wanted to connect two 25-foot HDMI cables going from my TV in the living room to the Roku in my bedroom (using an HDMI splitter), but once connected, absolutely nothing appeared on the screen. I've tested each HDMI cable individually and they work fine, so I'm assuming these connectors are bad.

If you're using HDMI behind walls, this is a great way to separate cables so you don't have to tug on the ends like I did. The picture quality is perfect, so the loss and now calm down instead of figuring out what to do (what a wall should do in the ceiling and run new cables.). Save yourself a headache and money. Add them to both ends of your run.

For something as simple as you think it would be easy to make something that actually works. I bought it because my computer monitor cable (I use a 3 monitor setup) was short and I had some extra HDMI cables laying around. Changed the cable 3 times and the monitor switched off every time about once a week. Used cables that I knew were good. But without success. The problem was the stupid adapter. Buy another brand.

This adapter allows you to use a Fire TV Stick (any generation dongle or any other brand) with a suitable MM length HDMI cable to provide a snug fit for better Wi-Fi reception. With the Stick plugged in behind the TV, that's a terrible place for strong WiFi reception, especially when using 5G.
