Turns the monitor off completely

I bought this to replace another KVM that supports 4k HDMI but only USB1.0. THIS KVM completely disconnects your monitor from other systems when you switch to another input. Any system that isn't the selected input won't even know there is a monitor on that output, and all your windows will be moved to another 'existing' monitor. It's not good for your primary monitor if you switch between systems multiple times a day. The old one with idiotic USB support supported at least one signal to all…

Look Somewhere Else

Wasted 90 minutes of my day because the hardware fooled me, seems easy, plug in a monitor, plug in computers and switch between them as needed. Don't even do it. Computers read that they're connected, but don't show up on either computer. The design is terrible. The wires at both ends are redesigned, but well thought out. Spend your time elsewhere.

Recommended. Great product in many ways. Supports many video and audio standards. I only use the basic 4K@60Hz switching feature on Windows and Linux. The documentation is multilingual and well done. USB cables included but NO HDMI cables. Also, you need to provide your own USB adapter to power the device. Does anyone have a workaround for these problems? 1. Windows 10 intercepts Scroll Lock key so Hotkey Toggle doesn't work on Windows.2. The USB 1.1 ports are for keyboard and mouse. However…
