Good quality, but a little small

I bought two of these for a commercial hallway. They seem to be of good quality, but I could have used them to be just a little larger in outer dimension. There was some slight imperfection in the wall (not the product) that the old switch cover concealed as it was just a touch wider. Unfortunately the new cover doesn't quite spread the same distance. I'll look for one that is a little wider but in the meantime this is OK.

Pros
  • This wall plate was easy to install and has great value. It's very sturdy and worth the weight.
Cons
  • Shattered the minute I installed and it wasn't put on too tight

Sizing is not correct

I needed a 5" x 5" two switch plate, which is what the description says. The one that arrived is actually 4 9/16" x 4 9/16" That's my review.

Kind of on the line with these

Just bought a new home and all the switch and outlet plates were yellowed, cracked, dirty and mismatched. I bought enough to redo the whole house. Just a note; these are super white and super shiny. Some areas they look really great, other places kind of cheap and other areas they are a much brighter white than the outlet or switch they are plating. I’m not completely happy but I’m not certain it’s the plate’s fault.

Cracked after 1 year of household use.

These switchplates cracked after 1 year of regular household use. If you're going to keep these, do not tighten the screws too much.it will promote the cracking even more.

False advertising.Dimensions in product description not accurate

I needed the product size described in the product prescription 5 x 0.51 x 5”. Too small. I could have bought this for far less if size wasn’t important. Won’t cover the opening! This is false advertising.

  • Didn’t even have the screw holes drilled. Don’t buy.

Missing Screw: my feedback

The wall plate itself is great however there was a tear in the packaging and was missing a screw. I was able to find another screw lying around but doesn't match well.

Nails that come with it dont fit

The screws that come with it are too wide and too short to reach the other side. These were good and aren''t to weak.. Other than that they work great
