Always looked for one when I needed to remove shortcuts. Now I have a large set and I was able to put them around the house where I thought they would come in handy. The set has several sizes, which are convenient for traveling. I wish there were 2 razor sharp rippers instead of just one as it comes in very handy for removing seams in heavy duty tarps.

Why do we need so many Rippers? Well I use them a lot because I sew a lot of dresses, costumes and sets and there's always something to rip out. With this collection I can hide the seam ripper anywhere. Also, I like to have a supply because I teach sewing sometimes and it's a good gift for a beginner. I've bought expensive Fiskar rasps (which I really like) but they're cheap and work just as well.

I love this line of Rippers! It has 4 large ones with comfortable handles; 4 smaller ones that work well with more delicate fabrics and threads and 1 super sharp scalpel version. All have protective covers. Preferably 9! I can put 3 in a sewing box and place the rest where I need them. Win! I like to recycle items of clothing whenever possible, such as zippers, buttons, etc. This makes it easy to remove these items for further projects.

Excellent value for money! They may not be as heavy as big brand rippers but for the price I don't know what to complain about. The quality of the plastic turned out to be better than I expected after reading another negative review about it. Yes, there were small extrusion points on the bottom of some of them, but not so sharp that I could cut my hand. I used a nail file and sanded it to make it more comfortable. I am very happy with them and would buy again anytime!
