In my opinion these mouthguards are too thick and difficult to shape to whiten teeth. I couldn't get them to fit snugly around my teeth and gums. Since I couldn't sit tight, they didn't seem to keep the whitening gel on the surface of my teeth.

Item arrived as described. Bulkier than custom trays, but at only 10% the cost, it's worth it. I tried to press firmly on the gumline at the front of the teeth to ensure a snug fit and minimal seepage of the bleach during the bleaching.

I found them difficult to mold even with instructions. I feel that the rubber is very thick. No matter how hot or how long you leave them and even press (the front of the teeth) you will not get the individual dental impressions you need on each part of the teeth. You only get a good impression from the bite area. I will not buy these again nor will I recommend them.

I wish I had read the reviews first. You don't blind your teeth. I softened them up nicely in hot water but when I put them on my teeth they just didn't do anything. I've used forms like this before and never had a problem. I think the plastic here is too thick. Don't waste money!

Firstly, unlike most reviewers, I paid full price for it. They cannot be formed exactly. I've made at least a dozen thermos and molds with no problems, but with these they're very flexible, even at room temperature. When heated in 200 degree water, they shrink and deform, but still don't follow the shape of your teeth. I'm going to try the Shock Doctor mouthguard and see if I can get better results with it and the whitening solution.
