Exactly what I needed!

They're easy to put on and they really keep me from twisting my ankle! Now I'm not afraid to walk as it keeps my ankle from twisting. A good product!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Lots of things

Too much space between feet and buttocks

Has high, low and syndesmotic trauma. Needs firm support, but the sole of the foot hangs way too low, even with the insole in between. The best option for me was the Oped Vaco Talus brace.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Has deficiencies

Velcro torn: braces, braces and braces

The tape on these braces is poorly constructed and unreliable. The strap has come loose from the brace and will no longer secure it to my leg. Now they are useless and offer no support whatsoever. The return window is closed so I'm sticking with them. Can the seller contact me to let me know if I can get a replacement?

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • I will add later

A traveler's dream with weak ankles.

I twist my right ankle every time I walk on uneven ground. So I decided to try this bracelet. After wearing it at home for a day, I did a 15-mile hike with a 4100-foot climb. A couple of times I felt like my ankle would roll out of the way, but this brace gave me the much-needed support to keep that from happening. Go about 40 miles with it and no problem. So glad I bought it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Modern

Ineffective and painful.

Unfortunately, this brace offers little to no support for either inversion or high ankle sprains. It hurts when wearing because the side padding is too hard and when stretched it will contact sensitive and damaged areas. It may not be tight enough to heal a high ankle sprain. I recommend just wearing a soft bandage that you can tighten to feel comfortable, it gives more support than this bandage.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Nothing

Excellent ankle brace to prevent sprains

I would never have played volleyball without them. I had a much older version of the Ultra ankle that lasted 20 years, believe it or not. The only thing left is the strap. They are much lighter than my previous pair but feel just as strong. These are ankle supports when you want maximum protection from rolling ankles landing on other people's feel during spikes/lockdowns. Worth the price!

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Some problems

Excellent bracelet, no problems with it.

My son has a high ankle sprain and three torn ligaments from a wrestling injury. These are the braces the doctor put on us instead of buying what we could get under our insurance. These are amazing braces, we had no problem wearing them to school all day. The doctor recommended putting two socks over that foot and we never had any chafing, blisters or sores.

Pros
  • Only one adjustable strap makes it easy to put on. Extra long straps are only available through Ultra Ankle. Must be worn with shoes.
Cons
  • Available in black only

Wrong size in package *EDITED*

*Update* I received the correct size within 2 days. This bracelet is absolutely perfect! This allowed me to go bowling, and skating (in moderation and slowly) would have been impossible with the corset the doctor gave me. I ordered this product but received the wrong size in the package. The fit is great and I can walk without much pain. I ordered a medium size and the box says large shoes. It seems to do exactly what I need, but it's too big. I broke my fibula in the ankle, so I enjoy running…

Pros
  • You can reinforce and repair the High-5 ankle brace. It is best used for chronic ankle instability and recurrent joint pain.
Cons

Honest traveler review

Full Disclosure - I purchased this myself and receive no compensation from Ultra Ankle for this review. I'm not a marketer, just a teacher who loves to wander. I want to share my honest thoughts about High-5 and love this company a little bit as I think they make an amazing product. I have full garbage ankles. I damaged them badly in my late teens and then again and again and now it's too easy to roll them when I'm on rough ground. It's a real shame as I'm fortunate to live near the White…

Pros
  • The Ultra High-5 Ankle Brace features articulated cuff technology that limits excessive twisting and turning of the ankle. Specially designed for sports such as volleyball, soccer, basketball and hiking.
Cons
  • So far so good
