Description of Ultra Paws Light Duty Water Resistant Dog Boots: Versatile Footwear for Small, Medium, and Large Dogs

MEASURE FIRST: For best dog boot fit, measure dog paws and refer to size guide. Width of dog paw should be less than width of dog booties. Buy Size 2 (extra small) boots for paws measuring between 1 3/4 and 2 inches wide. Foam padding allows for boot to be tightened without harm but adding a dog sock can also make more snug. Other sizes available. LIGHT DUTY BOOTS ARE IDEAL FOR: Running at dog grass runs, dog pools, snow and indoor hardwood floors. Small dog shoe provides paw protection with rubber non slip soles. PATENTED DESIGN: Ultra Paws dog shoes with foam ensure your dog is comfortable when velcro straps are tight and secured. ADDITIONAL USAGE: Use to keep dogs from licking natural dog paw balm, cream or soother. Great for pools to prevent liner tears and scratches while swimming. NEED HELP? If you are not sure which size is the right one, please contact us and we will walk you through how to properly measure your dog's paws.

Acceptable but not as durable as expected

Bought the boots for my Newfoundland dog who naturally has large paws and needs sturdy boots for walking around and socks on the road. She has only worn them twice and the toes already have holes in the stitching of the soles of these boots. They just aren't as firm on the bottom as I was hoping and I don't expect them to last long. For a truly "durable" boot for large/giant breed dogs, unfortunately they do not match the description.

Terrible! Destroyed in ONE use

We thought this would be a good option as balloon sandals are only temporary. They lasted ONE DAY. We only use two, on the back legs of our puppies, and holes appear in them after one use. Delivered on 15.08. DO NOT spend your money on this item. We didn't even walk with them; We only used them in the pool! Our pup loves to push off steps, go in the pool and swim. That's all to protect his claws and paws from the stairs in the pool. photo attached. Terrible. Simply save money!

Unsafe: causes injuries and vet bills.

I would not recommend this brand. Our Golden is 14 years old and has had several dog shoes and none of them have harmed him except these. Proper fit requires (usually) using larger boots on the front legs than the back legs. Although they were meticulous about their fit, they caused abrasions and ulcers under our dog's two dewclaws (claws on the sides of the front paws), one of which became severely infected and cost hundreds of dollars to treat. Although the boot was worn buttoned over the…

Great boots for cold and salty roads!

Living in Minnesota, everyone in our family needs good boots. The snow is cold and there's no shortage of salt on the roads, so it's really about safety. I researched and researched dog shoe options for my dogs. I've found Ultra Paws to have received some of the highest ratings. I bought a pair of these boots from a local pet store and found them to fit my dog very well. I bought a black pair from Revain for my husband as they were about $15 cheaper. There are no regrets here. The boots are…

not durable in dogs

Unfortunately not durable. I was stunned to see ankle boots today after my husband took our dog for a walk. He carried them about 10 times or less and only twice to get in and out of the car to the vet clinic office. The other times I was out walking the sidewalk with my husband about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 miles ---- that's a few times and every bootie either has a hole or starts a hole. I'm stunned to be honest. He didn't have a long gestation period. Didn't ride on rocks, gravel or mud. Didn't walk…

AWESOME PRODUCT FOR SENIOR DOGS!

We have a 12 year old yellow lab who has developed extreme paranoia from walking on hardwood floors. She will run and then sometimes fall - not a good situation for a 70 pound older dog. I did a lot of research to look for a solution and tried other types of products that were recommended. Nothing helped, and we were afraid that if she fell, she could hurt herself very badly. A few days ago I came across the Ultra Paws Durable Dog Boots and ordered them from Revain. We put them ON THE hind legs

Amazing fun

I have a 2 year old German Rottweiler bitch who weighs about 100 pounds. Although she spends time outside and we live in a very temperate climate, when she goes inside she has a very hard time. We recently moved into a house that has hardwood and tile floors throughout, so it doesn't hold up at all. I am a Rottweiler breeder and my little girl is now two months pregnant making her look more tired and even more awkward on our hardwood floors than before. These boots save lives. I've tried socks…

upset. The size is a complete mess.

I am very disappointed in this purchase. I was expecting a certain level of accuracy in the description of the dimensions of this product for the price. I followed her recommendation and measured my dog's paw on a piece of paper. The measurement came out at 1 1/2", which I thought was great considering their sizing instructions recommend choosing XS. When I received the item I couldn't believe the size of the boots. But I decided to get them good luck giving and trying them on my dog for sure…

They stay on the dog's paws and the dogs are happy

I bought Petite for my dogs. My dogs are: 1st (large clean) Chihuahua (12lbs) and 2nd Miniature Poodle mix (10lbs). Their front feet are 1.25" and their rear feet are 1" with no weight bearing. When they put their weight on the paw, it expands 0.25 inches. I bought Petite (1.25 inch) for both dogs and they are big enough. I tried 1.5 inch boots (not like that) but they were too big. The little ones are way too big for the hind legs, but it's the smallest size in "rugged" boots and they stay on…
