Review on Ultra Paws Light Duty Water Resistant Dog Boots: Versatile Footwear for Small, Medium, and Large Dogs by Jan Keller

I am very disappointed in this purchase. I was expecting a certain level of accuracy in the description of the dimensions of this product for the price. I followed her recommendation and measured my dog's paw on a piece of paper. The measurement came out at 1 1/2", which I thought was great considering their sizing instructions recommend choosing XS. When I received the item I couldn't believe the size of the boots. But I decided to get them good luck giving and trying them on my dog for sure. Too big for sure. Not even close. The top straps went well past his carpal joints on his front legs. I measured the boot in a horizontal position and it came about 2 1/2" out. It's a full inch wider than his paw and from their description, that's the size they recommend. I thought about trying the miniature size, but not sure if that would make much of a difference. The material is also very hard. I'm sure it's not a big deal for big dogs, but my little guy will probably have problems. My suggestion would be to just not make them for small dogs. Or actually research the size differences and what materials work best for smaller dogs before attempting to break into that market segment. I always do a lot of research on the products I buy online to avoid product returns which is why I am so disappointed that I feel like I wasted a lot of time just reviewing them.
