Fast 128GB SSD USB Drive

Works as advertised and matches the speed I get when I mount an m.2 SSD via an external enclosure and USB-C/USB Use A cable. The benchmark results are pretty much identical to the new Lexar 500GB SSD. The only thing is that it gets quite hot during use, sometimes even too hot to hold in hands. But it's a compact form factor with a magnetic lid, so it gets points for convenience. Good price for what you get.

Fast and compact in data storage

So when you look at it, it looks like a regular flash drive, but it's actually what they say: an SSD with over 400 Mbit/s. It has a nice design, and while I only have the 128GB version, it's enough to play games or do some really quick file transfers. As another reviewer said, you can run your operating system and see a significant speed boost over a standard hard drive. There really isn't anything not to love here. Five stars!

Optimal combination of high speed, endurance, stability, temperature and form factor

external SSDs vs. purchases, I leave my notes below in case it helps someone save a lot of time :( 1 ) Speed: This flash drive runs at a reasonable SSD write speed of over 400MB/s. This is the equivalent of SATA SSDs. This may not compare to internal NVMe SSDs, but there are no such flash/small form factor NVMe SSDs. World speeds as minuses. For example, there have been numerous reports of overheating after just 30 seconds of transfer, resulting in a speed drop of up to 7MB/s. I don't think…

Fast, hot, piece of metal

I've used it quite a lot now, I've transferred tens and tens of gigabytes of data back and forth from this flash drive, which is attached to the back at this stage. my computer to a USB-A 3.2 port. I wish I could understand how manufacturers can make USB sticks so fast when, to be honest, the vast majority of USB sticks aren't even 25% faster. And I'm talking about actual use of data transfer back and forth. I currently carry these in my travel bag and store them encrypted with BitLocker along…

Suitable for high-speed media

This USB stick offers very good performance in a small package. Tests show it's fast enough for 4k video editing. I had no problems copying directories with unedited videos and images, the speed remained unchanged. The outer case is made of metal which acts as a heat sink as it can get hot during use.
