Pulled out of the packaging everything is dirty the lid is dented in several places and does not work when I insert the batteries

To be honest when it arrived I had to open it because it weighed so little I thought there was nothing in the box. But all it needs is light inside and it works great.

Nice. It doesn't really project clear images. It's not as bright as I thought. It would be better if he had the ability to flash lights or rotate.

My kid is obsessed with this stuff! The only reason I took the star off is because the cheap plastic cap with the fish on it is very difficult to put on and doesn't fit properly so I had to be very careful putting it on to avoid breaking it (supplied unassembled). It's smaller than I thought it would be and doesn't rotate, but that's just a preference and still projects well on all 4 walls.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying. It was very cheaply made, the top was thin plastic and kept popping out even if you lined it up correctly. I felt like I would crumple it just to put it on. The battery worked, so I couldn't use it as a night light as planned. The projected images are only circles and fish outlines, no Dory figures. The item seemed very cheap straight out of the box which was made worse when I found the flimsy plastic dome. It was difficult to get it on properly but I was able to without damaging it after playing with it for about 5 minutes. We were very disappointed when we took it to our twins' room and turned it on for them to see. It just looked like blurry paint splatters on the walls and was incredibly dark even on nearby walls.
