They're thick, so be ready to wear them for the first time. However, they hold up and hold up well. They look fantastic (gilded!). I keep the packaging in my jewelry box to use when needed as the back of the earrings can become loose over time. Great value (I bought it for $3.75 in 2008)

These replacement earring backs are great! They are firmly attached to the earring. I can wear them knowing I won't lose another earring or back! I've had no problems with irritation or reactions to these backs. I think they are priced right and are a good buy. If you are looking for interchangeable earring backings, give these a try.

This is an amazing purchase! I have very sensitive skin and wearing gold plated earrings helps prevent ear irritation. I wear tiny earrings and was afraid these backs would be too big, but they aren't. They worked perfectly for me, no irritation. Not to mention how often I lose my earrings, I never have to worry about buying new ones! Definitely recommend to anyone making jewelry or constantly losing their backs.
