Found my place best in Novelty Lighting

I originally bought this just for the motion sensor. I ended up not needing it for this other product so I put it in my nursery instead so I don't have to turn on the light when the baby cries at night. I just walk into the room and this light comes on.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Tint - Yellow

I bought this for my child's locker and we were all thrilled to put it on. When we finally did, I'd say we were all a bit disappointed with the color and light performance. However, it works very well and has been working for just over a month now. Motion sensitivity works well too.

Cheaply made and confusing instructions

The light bar is pretty standard but the rest of the parts are pretty cheap plastic. Could break easily. Adjustable parts are not easy to adjust. And the instructions are contradictory (pictures of the box show two different ways to install it). Make sure the light strip is connected to the "OUT" side of the box. I think it will work for what I want, but I wasn't overly impressed.

  • Quality construction

  • too dull

The motion sensor stopped working for a day

This product has a lot of potential but unfortunately the motion sensor seems to have failed after I tried using the dial to control the light duration. First the light bar would turn off after 15 seconds of inactivity, but now the light bar stays on all the time. Update: Turns out it matters which end of the motion sensor you plug the power cord into, not the LED strip. . The connectors are exactly the same, but on a whim I swapped them and now everything works. Upgrading my original 2 star…

Good light but short battery life

The light output (lumens) is good for my office (4ft wide x 2.5ft high). Color temperature (in Kelvin) is what I wanted. The motion sensor works as it should. However, battery life is short depending on light usage. The batteries are so discharged that they need to be replaced less than 6 weeks after installation. I've only been to the office about 8 times since installing it. My guess is that the motion sensor is using a lot of power and thus draining the batteries. I own and have 4 other…
