Good socks with a few big flaws

Nice socks are warm and comfortable but they don't hold up at all and felt like I'd rip them in half the first time I wore them, so it is such a pretty big scam i would say it was a pair of socks that cost $20.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are some quirks

Read Review: Athletic Socks

Size 9-11. These are durable and well tailored socks but not for wide calves as they don't have a lot of stretch at the top. Again, these are "boot socks" but they only come down to mid-knee. I can't use them with my cowboy riding boots as part of the boot is chafing the leather.

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Weight

Great all weather boot socks plus

These are the best all round socks for everyday use. My feet are drier and less tired. I use them when traveling and at work. They work great with my Salomon hiking boots, combat boots and Redwings 14+ hours on my feet. For size 13 feet I use size XL.

Pros
  • Good Stuff
Cons
  • No effect

The best sock! Best in Active

The best socks I've found for fall and winter! Super comfortable, doesn't wrinkle and stays in place. Not so thick that tennis shoes are uncomfortable, but thick enough to fill your boots! I brought several pairs so I'll never be without these UA socks during the colder months. My feet are never cold and never too hot!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons

Highly recommended! in clothes

They are a little big (for a woman's leg I bought my normal size), they are warm, soft, wash well, they are thick. A good intermediate sock when it's too hot to wear knee socks. I definitely recommend this sock. Although the sock was a bit long, it didn't move or bunch up once I positioned it correctly and I wear it for long strenuous hikes or bike rides.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Empty

Toes always warm, never hot

Perfect for wearing with my cowboy boots on cold days in the stable. My feet stay warm even in sub-zero temperatures and never get hot or sweaty. The best winter socks I've ever had. Run a little more than expected, but not enough to really make a difference. They do curl up a bit after many washes, but again not enough to worry about. You are so comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • So-so

Toe Seam Hatred

First, I'm not sure if I actually have Hitch Heavy 3.0 because the card just says 'Hitch Heavy'. I liked the Hitch Heavy II socks. Unfortunately, this sock does not conform to the norm. They're a little shorter, not bulky, and have horrible seams at the toes. The second I put the sock on, it felt like the little gnome was rubbing inside the sock and weaving wire around my toes. And that's all I can say about it.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Secret

Best boot socks (for me)

I stumbled across UA Hitch Heavy Socks on sale and only had 1 pair before. On a whim I decided to see if UA made them and was happy to find them on Amazon. For the money these are the best boot socks I have ever had. Great cushioning, fairly warm (not for winter socks), great elasticity and they hold up really well. I can't fault these socks at all and would fill my sock drawer with them if I didn't sometimes need other types of socks (dress, running, etc.)

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Expandable

Great socks, shrunk a bit

Husband loved them when they arrived. The XL sock was long enough for his size 12 feet. I washed them with cold water and dried them. Initial use was a bit disappointing as the toe sagged enough to be firm and the foot was about 3/4 inch shorter. Since January we have noticed that if the socks stretch when I take them out of the dryer, they are almost as long as new ones. He likes the warmth, the thickness of the heels and the fact that they don't crumple in the boots. He also stretches them…

Pros
  • Great overall features
Cons
  • Not the best
