It's worth reading the reviews from time to time and damn they were right. I bought it for $6.50 and risked the size. Most of the time I wore a size 40 belt and bought a size 36. I'm glad I did. It's actually not a bad strap, but it stretches like no other strap I've seen.

Very strong belt. Excellent quality. Nice heavy buckle. Definitely less. It is elastic, there are no holes, so the chance of error is small. I have a dune / dune. The belt is light khaki, not olive in the photo. Still good but thought I'd mention it.

my waist is 32 and i bought size 30 and it fits great with the possibility to adjust it. Maybe you could even choose 3 sizes smaller than your waist size if you want. Otherwise the belt is of excellent quality and looks beautiful.

This is a high quality beautiful belt but as many other reviewers have noted the size is very large, especially the elastic material. My waist is a size 38 and I usually wear a size 40 leather belt. I ordered a 40 in this belt and it is too long. I changed it to 36 and now it's spot on.
