Terrible quality, fell apart, didn't even wear!

Bought for my husband as a Christmas present. He likes Under Amour and has several other products from this brand. He put the socks in the wash and all three pairs look like they were a year old, with dangling, frayed drawstrings, faded color and one pair came out of the wash with a one inch hole. They haven't even been worn yet. I can't even contact the seller to complain, the site keeps redirecting me elsewhere.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

These headbands are 2 " wide and I would go for .

These bandages are 2" wide and I would prefer a width of 1 1/8 to 1 1/2 inches. However, I found that I could use them could stack to create desired width.I wear them to workout every day and they effectively protect my eyes from sweat.I use a towel to absorb debris to avoid feeling full.Other bracelets I've used in the past will stretch and lose their elasticity and color after a few washes, this is not the case.

Too thick and terrible absorbency

I'm not a fan of these things at all. For a bandage, the absorption is terrible. A bandana or even thin polyester strips will absorb sweat much better than these. The worst thing is that they fit all sizes. I don't have a big head by any means and they are so tight they literally give me a headache. Maybe over time it will stretch and get really comfortable, but the fact that it does a terrible job at its job doesn't make sense to find out.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons

Not suitable for people with large heads (no pun intended)

The mark under the armor is great. I was attracted to them because many of them were eligible for Prime and I didn't want to wait for a third party like when I ordered another product which I'll get to in a moment. The problem is that they are a bit on the small end. If you have a large skull I recommend skipping this and going for the Under Armor Adult Performance Headband. You can get by with it, but if you sweat as much as I do, you'll need to bring tissues or paper towels to make up theโ€ฆ

Gets wet and heavy

So I bought 4 different headbands (Temple Tape, Terry Michigan State, Under Armor and Headsweats). The Temple Tape performed best, absorbing a lot of sweat and then was really easy to wring out and reuse for the next game. The terry was hot and heavy, the Under Armor got wet and heavy, and the sweatshirts didn't absorb moisture and just wicked away sweat. I'm a fat sweaty 45 year old man playing volleyball with some young people and wicking the sweat down my back etc. Not as good as absorbingโ€ฆ

  • Wrinkle Pack

Garbage. Doesn't absorb sweat.

I have no idea why it has so many good reviews. It doesn't absorb sweat. You buy headbands because you need something to keep sweat out of your eyes. Why do people love it so much? It is inferior to any other cotton bandage you can find. I bought this because my previous headband was a little tight on my head and I decided to try UA. It's about the same as the previous headband, so it doesn't matter. The only reason to rate this more than 2 stars is if you're a kid who needs to be covered inโ€ฆ

Great for my big-headed ladies! BELIEVE ME!

As a woman with a larger than average head, I have a hard time finding a bandage that doesn't cause pain over my ears or a headache or when I'm trying to wear an elastic bandage. I just get out of my head. So I decided to try some men's headbands and these from Under Armor are great! I have one in black and one in red and I wear them like a normal elastic bandage and they stay with me even after 12 hours of work in a very busy ER. They can be hand washed which is a definite plus for me. I would

Not recommended for more than moderate sweating

Not recommended for more than moderate sweating. Pay $5.99 for 2 of these as extras. I have a very thick sweater and I use it for basketball and tennis. These bands reach saturation MUCH faster than cheap cotton bandages and offer no moisture wicking thereafter (unlike my more expensive halo bands). Honestly, in hot Florida weather, I can last 15 minutes in them before sweat runs down them, gets into my eyes, and onto my face. Cotton Bands can run for up to an hour, while Halos runsโ€ฆ
