Super nice jacket. Ideal for cool days. Heavier than windcheaters because it's lined, but not heavy enough for windy, cold days. My son is 47in 53lbs and the average is too tall. It fits as I expected from a 10. I would buy him a small one if I were to buy him again.

Based on the product photos and reviews, I expected the outer layer of this jacket to be at least waterproof and windproof. I ordered one for each of my boys to use on windy or rainy days. However, the outer material is just a thin fabric. Water seeps through immediately and the wind easily cuts through the fabric. Anyway, these jackets are not suitable in rainy or windy days.

I bought this jacket because my son had a problem with the jacket zipper jamming when he took it off. He won't ask for help, and since he's in 1st grade, no one will remind him to take it off, and won't even notice the zipper sticking. Cool in the morning but warmer in the afternoon.
