My son used it at school and loved it! This bag will last all year with a 13 year old carrying books and supplies EVERY DAY! Children treat everything roughly: clothes, bags, shoes, etc. But despite being beaten up, they still look, feel and grow like new out of the box! I couldn't ask for a more durable school bag for my teenager!

I bought 2 bags, 1 for a 15 year old and 1 for a 7 year old. The sizing is more appropriate for my older son, but two simple little bow knots provided the extra length for my younger son. They have a large main compartment and easily slip into cleats, flip flops and a change of clothes without looking at the padding. It's a bit pricey for a rope backpack but sometimes you get what you pay for. My middle school son uses this as a school bag. He stows his morning exercise in one backpack and the afternoon in the other. At lunchtime he simply takes his second backpack out of his locker and goes to class.
