I have finally been able to fit these bulbs into our fixtures. I decided to test the whole box of 10 at once. Unfortunately 4 didn't work, the case seems too loose compared to the 6 that worked, so the connection is poor on the 4 that failed. I will say that for the price of 6 I can use it's still more affordable than buying it at the big hardware store I bought them from. I paid $13.99 for 10 bulbs. The OEM bulb is GE WB25X10026 or GE WB08X10057, both 50W bulbs, and they sell for $13.99 per bulb. I have previously used a WB25X10019 20W bulb and there was a noticeable difference in the low level light from the bulb. These bulbs are made in China but I put on gloves and the first two bulbs I pulled out of the box worked like a champ. I use this type of bulbs in several outdoor lights (with sealed lenses) with motion sensors, so I use several bulbs each year due to multiple on/off cycles per day. They come in a nice compact pack of 10 which is easy to open/close and each individual bulb is stored in its own little cardboard box with a protective pouch inside so you can take them out with no oil on your body without closing them use gloves. at around $1.20 per bulb and I didn't have to waste time or fuel picking them up…
