Do not connect directly to the battery! Directions are wrong.

I bought these for a car project we were working on last year. Finally, last week I was able to open it for installation. We routed the cables, which was not an easy task with this particular setup. The instructions say to connect directly to the battery. Big mistake! Make sure you need a fuse between the battery and the power cord. The light came on and went off almost immediately. I opened the relay box and found that it was blown. So confused about this. The fuse would have prevented this…

Cables are too short to run

Cables are too short, are they really running, I'm installing it on a small VW Golf TDI, I'm an electrical engineer, I assemble electrical components and run cables for a I'm considering now whether I should return it or make some major changes to this device. I can make it work and improve it, but is it really worth buying extra wires, soldering, shrinking, and a stronger case? My wife would say no. So she's the boss. Sorry seller, but then again, I'm a rebel and enjoy working with…

Wiring isn't as easy as it says

I tried installing headlights with the wiring that came with them and they didn't work. There was a red and black wire at the end of the wire so I connected them to the battery but to no avail. Called a neighbor for help and the first comment was that there was no ground wire. The instructions don't refer to the ground wire at all, and they were so blurry you could barely read them. He ended up helping me install it (or did it for me), but it wasn't easy. After realizing that the wires were too
