These mugs were awesome for my boys! They love them and now use them on cold mornings when they drink hot cocoa or when I give them coffee! I love how the dinosaurs in the trees change when it's hot or cold.

The heat-sensitive sticker peels off almost immediately, no, there is no soap in the dishwasher. It was a Christmas present and at first it seemed amazing, but after a very short time and almost uselessly the dinosaurs disappeared. Washing my hands was like a giant comet trying to wipe those dinosaurs off my mug.

Love this mug very much. My mom got me this for Christmas because I love coffee, dinosaurs, and weirdly, skeletons and osteology! My ex boyfriend is stupid, put it in the dishwasher and completely ruined it so I went out and bought a new one because I liked it too much to just consider it a waste. I'm 27 years old and I still love to see him change. Now I just want to collect them!

We liked the idea of the "back" on this mug and it's very cool. However low overall rating as it has been used 1 time and is now peeling. Instructions followed, not soaked in water or hand washed, but apparently it's some sort of pen that melts on the mug, not built into the mug like the others we have, so we're lucky if he does second use before it comes off completely.

The mug itself looks great, holds a lot of liquid and makes the supposed change when you pour very hot liquid into it. (Note: HOT, not warm.) However, after 2 months of use (probably once a week) with just washing your hands, the "cold" image will begin to peel off. This was a gift for my wife and she loved the mug and was very disappointed when it started losing color so quickly or whatever dinosaurs are.

It changes perfectly as advertised and my nephew loves it. I wish it was machine washable so I wouldn't worry about them accidentally putting it in the machine and messing up the photos because I know my nephew will be heartbroken, but so far they seem to be taking good care of it. If they break or ruin the painting I will probably buy a new one again because he loved the gift. The fact that it can be used in the microwave is a huge plus considering he loves tea.

High-quality screen printing, almost embossed. It's fun to watch the skeleton's appearance. But I wish it could be machine washed. Not a huge downside, unless I'm worried that someone ELSE in the house will forget it and accidentally put it in the dishwasher, so I feel like I have to "guard" it. My co-workers love watching dinosaur skins disappear and skeletons having fun, so it's a great conversation starter. Another added benefit of the heat-sensitive design is that you can visually tell if your coffee is cold. It should be noted that this is a wide mug and will not fit in a regular mug warmer. Works - sort of yes. But only if you use boiled water. I bought this fir tree for my son's birthday and when we made hot chocolate today it didn't change. I was just as disappointed as he was. I tried doing it under our hot water and it barely worked. I have to run it on the outside of the cup to get the change. The water is too hot to put my hands under while I walk, but I don't know the exact temperature. So I filled the cup hoping the cup would get hot but instead the color image came back…
