I have a 7 gallon tank and it's actually quite powerful, there is a lot of air current in the water although my tap is pushed and it's not really very quiet. Too much pain to go back but I wouldn't get it for less than 10.

This is a great little air pump but I was a bit disappointed that it was louder than advertised. Sure, it's a lot quieter than my old air pump, but not as quiet as the ones I use for my Betta aquarium. Good value for money, a little louder than I would like.

These are great little pumps for single filter or air vent operation. Or what I use it for, a small quarantine tank. It doesn't look like a million bucks, but it doesn't look like cheap junk either. If you have a splinter, you can put a small sponge filter and a small air stone.

i bought this for my 2 gallon tank the only thing i would say bad about it is he said you can reduce the amount of air it releases and can you do not. We simply tied a ponytail to the hose to keep it from going crazy in the aquarium. Also, it wants to float, so I'd grab some suction cups to hold it or put it under something. otherwise great! everything you need in one small box.

The pump works almost too well, I have a 5 gallon aquarium for my Betta and the pump is too powerful for my fish and creates a huge current with too many bubbles . It would be ideal if it were adjustable. I calmed the airflow by tying the hose together and now it works fine. If you are looking for a powerful and quiet pump, this is the one for you. Would have given 5 stars if its power was adjustable or if it wasn't that powerful.

One thing I noticed is that the instructions are on the back of the box and there are no paper instructions included so there was one extra part that I didn't know about am sure what to do with what to do. I photographed the back of the box and the part I have no idea what to do with. Also, it floats off the bottom a bit and doesn't stay under the gravel, due to bubble pressure I think? But it produces a lot of oxygen.

Received the pump today and soaked the stone in water for over an hour which the packaging recommends for an hour. Either way, the stone doesn't work. No air flows through. The pump works great. It works quietly, the air flows perfectly through the tube. So I decided to keep the pump and not return it as I don't want to go through that process. So I just stuck the hose myself into the tank to provide them with the air they need. This is the reason for the 4 star rating.

Apparently nobody got 10 or was out of stock. Up to 10 gallons. I have 5. The holy mole looks like my tank is boiling. It doesn't come with a valve or device to turn it up or down, it just turns on or off and it's a TOTAL BLAST. I made a bend in the pipe so it doesn't look too bad, but I definitely need to add a T and split the line into two bricks. The bubbles are huge too. You also need to buy a micro diffuser. I think I should have bought 20-100.

This is a small air pump that is great for small aquariums and small spaces. I use 2 sponge filters for betta tanks with this one in 2 tanks. I use a splitter. One tank has 5 liters, the other 7 liters. Betta does not like strong currents. This pump works very well. It's not 100% silent, I doubt it. But when placed correctly, it's very quiet.
