The sound is just bad. People can't understand us very well when we speak and it's been like this since day one. Had to buy new phones (of a different brand) a month after purchase as this is a complete disappointment.

I have had this phone for several years now and love it. They've survived being hit by a punch (which ruined the look), being thrown across a room, and performing other crude actions, and still work great. The range is about 200 feet. The problem I have is that replacement batteries are difficult if not impossible to find. They stayed charged for 2 consecutive days and then had to be charged again. Pleasant on the face, clear sound. Like intercom etc.

MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE AND WANT A PHONE IN EVERY ROOM SO WE BOUGHT THESE PHONES WITH TWO HANDSETS. YOU HUMM! WE ONLY HAD THEM FOR ONE YEAR AND HAD TO REPLACE EVERY PHONE, ONE OF THEM TWICE. The keys only work for a few months and then break. VERY AFFORDABLE PRODUCT. IT IS GREAT TO HAVE ONLY ONE BASE UNIT THAT NEEDS TO PLUG INTO THE TELEPHONE JACK, BUT THESE PHONES ARE USEFUL WHEN THEY ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY.
