Inexpensive design - landline phones

Bought the whole set in 2008 and now all 4 phones have the same problem, the central control panel which you select via the phone book or dialer list Identifiers are invalid. I'm a phone geek, make sure they stay connected, make everyone treat them like me. But at the end of the day, all phones have the same problem, so it's safe to say that all they sell are equally cheap. I wrote to them to explain the problem, they answered me how to reset the phone. When I replied again and explained that…

The middle button stops working after a while.

I can agree with everyone who says that the central multifunction button stops working after a while. Aside from this issue, the phone works perfectly. Sound quality is good and the message indicator lights up for us when a person leaves a voicemail (we use Vonage). As for the large multifunction button not working, I managed to fix it. I posted a step-by-step guide on the FixYa website (due to Revains URL filtering in the overview section I can't give you the web address, but it's just a FixYa

Out of range problem - possible solution

I've had this phone for about 4 months and get an out of range signal from time to time - even when I'm 10 feet from the base sat away and didn't move. I would have to hang up and call this person back. I spoke to Uniden support and they said: 1) Turn off your phone. 2) Press Menu. 3) Swipe down to Phone Setup and press Menu again to select. 4) Press Menu. with an arrow next to "Select Base" 5) Arrow up to "Auto" and press "Menu" to set (assuming it was previously set to "Base #1") 6) Put the…

In the beginning it was great.

** ADDITIONAL ** A year later both phones had random power cuts right in the same room as the base but MUCH more annoying every day a defect in the design of the pins for the 4-way tumbler switch ". Disassembling and cleaning, which I guess we've all done with TV remotes and co., doesn't help - the contacts just stop conducting electricity. After all, it's not possible to use those very important arrow functions. THEY WERE SO NEAR!ORIGINAL RATING: There are only two minor flaws and everything…

  • 1 year limited warranty

  • Minor issues
