Better than what your insurance gives you

I have been in Cam Walker boots for 5 months now and probably have 2 more to come My first boot was provided by my insurance company. I've never had one so I thought this boot was ok. After the operation I ordered this as a replacement as my insurance company did not cover the other boot. That's so pleasant! It has a lot of extra padding and I feel good and safe in it. The compression feature is great, but if you're on a knee scooter the blue button will get in the way and drive you crazy. Now…

Good only for a few days.

Do not buy! I was very satisfied a few days, good support seemed like good value for money to me, it worked great. After a few days or a week the adhesive holding the top three straps in place started to loosen and now it doesn't even support HALF like it did 8 days ago when I received it. Also when I crossed my legs the glue ruined 3 pairs of work pants. When I enlarged the image of the item it shows a different configuration of stars (no glue). Now I'm very disappointed and don't want to buy…

Love it! suitable for medical supplies and equipment

I've had it for over a month and it's undergoing serious testing. I have a stress fracture in my metatarsal and am currently vacationing in Lake Michigan. soft sand? This boot allows me to walk up and down sand dunes (though not gracefully) without worrying about my stress fracture getting worse. While I can't hike miles for miles, I can venture enough to find the perfect spot to spread out my towel and spend a day at the beach (my hernia allows me to take my boot off when I'm not walking). on…

  • not bad

My daughter has been wearing these boots for 6 weeks. She loves it. Saved a lot of money compared to the $350 boot they sold me at the orthopedic office the last time she sold her foot which was almost the same as this boot. She said the balloons keep her foot in place well and she is well supported. We bought a medium size based on the size chart but I think a small size would have been better. (she wears women's shoes 8.5). After the velcro ends at her foot where the layers end, and then most

Not for hyperknees

Boot keeps foot in place. I could not use this item and found it dangerous for my knee. My knees are excessively stretched and I've always been afraid of kneecap slipping. My left knee was completely dislocated many years ago and I don't want to have surgery on my right one. The problem is with the base: the boot tilts up at the back at the base, which causes the foot to naturally recline into a "hyperextended" position on my foot with every step, not just when stationary. It seemed to me that…

A very effective product and at a cheaper price than in the clinic!

I sprained my ankle very badly and the clinic gave me a shoe and told me not to put weight on that leg/ankle for at least 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I was also suffering at the same time from a pinched nerve in the 5th cervical vertebra, so I was unable to use crutches or move around in a wheelchair - the pinched nerve weakened my arm. . With the boot they gave me at the clinic, my foot was moving around in it, still in a lot of pain as I couldn't help but put weight on it. So I bought this by…

This boot is too heavy

I've been in a cast for almost 2 weeks and will be switching to hiking boots in the next 4-5 weeks. Ouch! 6-7 weeks without stress. I bought this boot because it had great reviews, was very reasonably priced, and helped me avoid paying a high price for a similar item at the doctor's office. This is a well built boot. Firmly. Lots of Velcro closures. Safe and reliable "air" system. I wanted to love it! Unfortunately I am sending it back as it is very, very, very heavy. For example, it's…

Great boot! AND CHEAP!

Don't be fooled by the low price of these boots, they are great boots! They are well constructed, although not exactly like mid-range boots. It's missing a fancy name, but who cares?! I actually bought TWO boots here at Revain (obviously this one), the one that claimed to be "low profile" was actually NOT! And it was twice as expensive. However, the Low Profile Boot, which had a really snazzy label, had an impressive video and key photos of the technology, as well as confirming claims that it…
