Ordered 2 stamps, none worked

Although the tray was correctly seated in the bay, I have tested several drives with it and none of them registered on the 2 systems I tried it on. Therefore I do not recommend.

Fits Dell 15 5000 series

Works for Dell 15 5000 series Touchscreen No installation problem Comes with a small screwdriver to install the drive I installed a 750GB drive and have no latency issues

I got this for a Lenovo Thinkpad and it literally took 30 seconds to install. Caddy, no searching for the right screwdriver, highly recommended.

Can't fit even if the sizes match!

Although I had to return this product it works but be aware it may not fit. Screwing it into my laptop was very difficult as the screw holes didn't line up with the metal plate used to screw it on. Props to include a screwdriver as it came in very handy. This might not be a solution for everyone either as I experienced unbearably slow speeds on the inserted SSD after installing it. I recommend that you just get an external adapter instead.

Easy way to install a floppy drive instead of a DVD drive, speed depends on SATA speed

I wanted my small, low power PC that only has two SATA ports to add some extra power add storage. Motherboard (Low Power "Desktop" - no PCI slots). In this cart, instead of pulling out the DVD and making room for the 2.5" drive and throwing away the only regular SATA power cable, I simply replaced the DVD drive with the 2.5" drive and the power cable in the Optical drive style repurposed. Viola! Clean, organized installation, keep spaghetti to a minimum. My only disappointment wasn't with this…

Great way to add another hard drive!

Laptop: The Lenovo Z70Mine came with an annoying hybrid HDD/SSD, so I switched to a full SSD. I really wanted to have secondary storage so I could get work done on it without slowing down my SSD, so this case was a great way to install the original HDD/SSD. It supports Sata3 but I think the baud rate depends on the motherboard port. Not this case. However, I didn't notice any difference in read/write speeds since it's connected to a SATA3 port, so I can safely say that the case won't slow down…

A great way to add a boot drive to an HP laptop!

My HP 15-db0011dx laptop won't boot from USB. So when I wanted to clone a 2TB hard drive to upgrade the original 1TB hard drive, I needed a way to verify that a new drive will boot before opening the laptop case to install it. With this unit I simply removed a screw holding the original DVD drive and replaced it with this unit containing my new 2TB hard drive. This gave me access to both the original hard drive and the new 2TB hard drive, allowing me to clone the OS without using a USB…
