Not sure how long it will last if the bike falls but it works fine. I wish the cord was a little longer, but I carry another braided cord with me for my needs. Otherwise I would take 5.

The alarm lock is great and the remote is easy to use, but the lock is not waterproof and I live in Seattle. I blocked the first good rain. No alarm, nothing, fresh batteries in, not unlocked, had to break the chain.

That's LOUD. The cable is short, but what the heck. It's so damn loud that it doesn't need to be plugged in anywhere. Motion sensor is enough! When received, the vibration sensor was too sensitive. I won't leave my bike knowing that if someone accidentally trips over it (because of the loud alarm) it could become public property. I tried reducing the vibration sensitivity by pressing and holding 4, which only produced a fast and loud beep that indicated no change in vibration sensitivity. So I returned it.
