This ballast has a delay

I installed this ballast today. It has a delay like the very old ones and it takes 2 seconds for the bulbs to turn on. i will return it Try other products like CFL or GE.

Ideal for electrical appliances

Lamp works well but is slow to start. No change required. However, as others have said, it starts up much slower than the 11 other lights that were in the kitchen. Try new bulbs and swap out bulbs, but you always get the same result. My client hasn't complained yet, so I left him.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Works great, but tinned strands.

Used on Hunter fans with folding blades. The electronics work perfectly and fit on the mount. One caveat: tin wires prior to insertion into wire inserts. Otherwise follow the connection instructions and everything will work fine. We're talking AC, so don't worry about color variation unless you connect ground to hot or neutral.

Hard to find part, direct install

This part was a direct replacement for a fluorescent light bulb that would not light up even when we put in a new bulb. I took the light apart and all the wires looked fine and this part is almost the only other part besides the bulb and socket. Two of my local hardware stores didn't have this part or something. Revain had exactly the part I was looking for at a bargain price. I'm so glad I didn't buy a new lamp. This fixed everything and we are back in the light. I should have checked out…

Repair work Dynatrap DT1775

Replacing the ballast in a failed Dynatrap DT1775. It's larger than the stock ballast, but easy to operate (I used an original stop screw and a self-tapping screw (the tip of the screw was visible in the light box, but I was in a hurry). I'm hoping it can power 2 lamps. It lasts longer than the original bulb for 1. The ballast comes with solid wires, an accurate and clear wiring diagram, and rear and side connections (so should work in any situation.) It also includes a mounting plate, which I…

I also have a Panasonic FV-11VQL5 fan/light combo that came with the UltraSave B13212-F. Based on a previous review I ordered this triad ballast to replace a previous failed ballast. I connected the old wiring harness to the new ballast and connected the ground to a case screw located about 4 inches from where the old ballast was. I cut off the screw connection of the old ballast used by the side cutter and used the rear screw connection together with a screw screwed directly into the plastic…

Easy replacement of onboard CFL bulb ballast

One of my onboard CAN lights has started to flicker intermittently. I replaced the lightbulb with a new one, but it's still blinking. Then, on one of the dates, he stopped glowing altogether. I was almost certain that the electronic ballast was defective. I replaced the ballast with this device which was perfect for replacing the bolt and fixed the problem. My ceiling light uses a 26 watt 4 pin CFL bulb, which is what this ballast is designed for. There is no need to go to the attic, the…

Good replacement for UltraSave B13212-F electronic ballast

I have a Panasonic FV-11VQL5 fan with an UltraSave B13212-F electronic ballast that needs to be replaced. I was able to replace UltraSave B13212-F with Triad C2642UNVME. The Triad C2642UNVME is slightly larger than the UltraSave B13212-F, but fits the FV-11VQL5 with minor modifications. I cut off the existing plastic screw mount. on the FV-11VQL5 that connected the UltraSave B13212-F to the FV-11VQL5. I used 3 existing screw mounts, 2 existing screws, 1 additional screw and wire to attach the…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

I bought this to install a ceiling light with a bad ballast. First I downgraded the product because while the ballast was said to work with several different lamps in both single and twin versions, the mounting holes did not match the ones I use for my lamp. Not a big problem, I just had to drill a new hole and reposition the screw. Another reason I downgraded this item was the noticeable delay between pressing the switch and seeing the light come on. We learn not to "try again," but guests…
