No detectable difference

Couldn't find any detectable difference between the water after and the water after the top filters I used. Seems to work the same as the more expensive filters.

Description wrong

That's 10 microns and 8000 gallons, not 0.1 micron and 1000 gallons. as described. I sent it back as it is useless for filtering giardia and bacteria. This is nothing more than a sediment filter.

Super filters that perform much better than regular non-wire-wound filters.

Suitable for winding only. I've tried simple cheaper ones and they work when screwed on. I know they cost more but only buy wire wound filters if you want true filtration, not pleated filters that let dirt/particulate through.

It's REALLY a 10 micron carbon filter!

Very misleading product description regarding particle size in micron range. They only brag about the accuracy of their filter quality from 0.01 to 0.1 micron, but nowhere in the description does it say it is actually a 10 micron filter ONLY! The 10 micron filter is useless for my application and I threw it in the trash!
