Very strong in the arms

Mount this on my bike. Excellent facilities. Uniform black and very durable construction. Gives the brakes a very comfortable feel.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not bad, best levers

Be careful when installing the clutch side cable I broke a lever and had to buy another set alongside this great quality for older bikes.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Excellent installation - same as OEM

Replaced an old kit in need of repair - first kit was faulty but seller quickly sent a replacement - very satisfied as the calipers work and feel professional

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost never

Not right and left, but 2 right controls!

What's up! Someone screwed it up somewhere. I ended up with 2 correct controls. The brake is great but the clutch is 100% right handed not left! I have a 1974, hard to find the right controls, I was hoping that was the end of my search! nope!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Clutch lever not OK

Brake lever with brake cylinder is OK. I installed the clutch lever and found something was wrong. I noticed it was upside down. The threads for the mirror were on the wrong side. I'm not sure I'm going crazy here, but I'm pretty sure it's the right lever. Still, I'm giving one star because I now have to order a separate clutch lever.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Update available

Good for the Price: Motorcycle & Powersports

Bought two of these, a set for my '79 GL1000 and one for a vintage Suzuki 400. The finish is good, works great, love the look. I use crossbar end mirrors so I don't know about the mirror mount issue. My only complaint is that the leverage tolerances are tight, but for the price, they're amazing. The GL1000 is a dual disc up front and the Suzuki is a single disc, the Bremsmaster works great in both cases.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
  • Nothing

No frills but works

Barrel adjustment thread on clutch lever is poor but works. The main problem is that the threads for the mirrors have to be clockwise and the brake side have to be anti-clockwise. So my mirrors don't work now :( Also the clutch stroke length is different so I need to get a special cable now as the difference between open cables should be shorter. So I spend more money now but that happens when you get cheaper In general they work and look good.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to tell
