Suitable for a dozen shots. then ftt!

If you cut more than toilet paper, don't waste time with this hole punch. It takes about a dozen puffs, and then it just distorts your footage. And about a dollar a piece, it's a bit pricey. The actual cutting edge seems to be relying on ugly burrs that intentionally "cut off" the sides of the "stamp" and just don't hold the edge. The side of the die also appears to be a bit rounded, so it's not surprising that it can't provide a clean cut. Once the ridge becomes dull, it can barely cut through

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Socket required

Saves time!

This thing is so cool. I never heard of this until I saw a video from the Cosplay Apprentice Build Guild recommending this item for your registry marks. I used to draw a pattern with registration marks, flip it over and redraw the registration marks. Sometimes I made a mistake because I use ordinary cover paper for copying. With this simple hole punch, registration marks appear on both sides of the paper. I can also manually adjust the depth of the stamp I use to indicate where to align the new

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled

Fit for intended use (NOT for cutting fabric)

**Please Note: Pattern swatches are used to cut notches in PAPER SAMPLES to allow you to cut slits in fabric when sewing to help align seams. They are NOT designed for use on fabric. **TL/DR: It works great on oak labels and thicker paper (which it's for), not so well on printing stock or butcher paper (unless you score two layers). ) and will not work on tissue paper (such as where home sewing patterns are printed). The one I have is slightly offset so it doesn't make perfectly sharp cuts, but

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some flaws
