Got this for my tractor as it doesn't have a voltmeter. There is only one warning light. I want to be able to see what's happening at all times while I'm using my tractor. You can never have too many sensors.

Extended scale makes it easy to check the batteries and charging system on the boat. I didn't use the L-shaped bracket, I used the counter to replace the broken one in the panel. Note: Don't lose the mounting nuts, they are tiny!

Meter reading under actual voltage. I tested it on a very expensive multimeter that I use regularly for auto work and it didn't work out. generally when it is installed on my sailboat on the auxiliary engine.

I put mine in place of the plate; fits snug and tight. and two-wire connection was a breeze. It's well lit and the pointer is muted so it doesn't jump around with every power surge. Recommended!

I wouldn't use this on a street car. Perhaps a project where high accuracy is not important. The wires are very thin, my 20 gauge terminals were too loose. The bolts were small enough for my #10 ring terminals to fit on the lock nut. The backlight is rather weak. I have returned to the Equus brand and I am not looking back.

I bought a cheap voltmeter so that's what I expected. I was pleasantly surprised to receive such a beautiful meter. Easy to install in my application and works exactly as tested by an electrician's voltmeter. Update: 10 months old and the backlight started flickering. The sensor is still accurate, but the blinking will probably force me to replace it.
