    The top handle girp could be mounted on camera directly, firmly and easily tightened by screw knob; could be widely used with cameras hot shoe, applicable for your Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax DSLR etc. Perfect for professional and amateur photographer, videographer, filmmaker to do creation.     Nice addition to my DSLR

    Great for the price.

    Not only does this top grip help you utilize the weight of your camera to reduce shaky footage, it also adds weight to your camera. The quality is very good, I really like that you can add a microphone and a monitor at the same time. If you are looking for a top grip and are on a budget, this is a very good option.

    EXACTLY what I needed

    I bought this pen for my Panasonic Lumix G7 and it fits perfectly and allows me to shoot smoothly without having to pack a lot of gear. My hands aren't the sturdiest, but the grip makes my camera heavy enough to compensate for my shaking hands so I can capture smooth camera footage. I used it to film products and follow someone walking. I'm glad I bought it. It turned out to be exactly what I needed.

    not so easy to use.

    I've seen some YouTube videos that recommend this makes using cameras for video recording a lot easier. I wanted to try it, after a few days I decided it wasn't for me! It's not as easy to use as they said in the video and it's definitely not as stable/smooth as I'd like it to be. I'm almost better off with a regular handheld device without a handle. I think it takes some practice to get really good at it. I could pass it on now. Maybe someone with skill will have better luck than me.

    I bought this hot shoe for my 5D because I'm used to shooting with the C100 and I liked holding the camera on top rather than on the side . I also have issues with my hands and the grip is much easier to hold when shooting from above for long periods of time.     I've owned several other grips since then and this is by far one of the best grips you can get for the money. It mounts with a cold shoe mount so you can very easily attach it to the top of a mirrorless camera or DSLR, but if you watch my video you will see that I attached mine to the top of the camera frame.     Got this to try out video recording with my Fuji X-T30. It's affordable but takes up a lot less room in my backpack than the large U-mount that attaches to a tripod mount. I'm a little wary of using my hot shoe as a mount, but this guy doesn't get in the way of my flip screen. I can mount a small pistol mic, small LED flashlight or ring light controller with just shoe mounts and could probably place a spare battery or external monitor on a third if needed.
