No handle :( on plumbing

Last year I bought a bidet under the toilet seat and wanted some bumpers to help the seat sit flat. I followed the instructions for gluing it onto the T. Super cleaned the toilet Seat, then wiped everything with alcohol to ensure good adhesion. After 3 days the first bumper was gone.I guess it's in my septic tank somewhere now :( After 5 months of use, last week, the ONLY bumper that was on it Sticky life fell off after cleaning. I think it works for others but not for me. Maybe it was a defective

That crap: toilets and toilet parts

This is the worst product I have ever bought, oh my god it seems so old it should have been in stock for the last 20 years or so at first stick them to the toilet seat then you leave it alone for a few hours and you find the damn thing in the toilet, now note I bought two more sets thinking I had followed the instructions wrong but nothing like that happened, even if i'm actually set on two sets so i don't overload anything, the packaging is stapled to show how old they are, because the…

All capital letters, yes! DO NOT BUY! You have been warned!

The glue sucks and when they immediately fell down the toilet three out of four were right where they were supposed to be. They use the cheapest double sided tape available from a manufacturer that I have other double sided tape that sticks to cars that go over 75mph. I was wondering why they offer sets of two as an option to purchase, now I know. If you have my money, shame on me. Don't ever change your product again, or maybe enough reviews will keep people from making the same mistake I and…

Work as promised. Not glamorous but used-updated-one fell off!

Ordered to slightly raise the toilet seat after installing the bidet. They work as described and I haven't had any issues with them not sticking as some other reviewers have mentioned. Maybe the difference was in the correct cleaning of the surface with alcohol before application? I recommend them if you need to raise the front of your toilet seat. Update: A few months later one of these is missing and my seat is crooked. I think the other reviewers were right about the glue. Suppose the…

Better get a new toilet seat

I bought and installed a Luxe Bidet Neo 185. However, the existing toilet seat we had pressed against the top of the bidet lid. I bought these bumpers to prevent the seat. by pressing on the bidet. The bumpers didn't stick to the toilet seat, so I just put the bumpers on the toilet rim. After a few months, the bumper began to discolor and also began to "crack". They've lost their shape. I was also afraid that the bumpers would fall into the toilet and clog the drain. I dropped the bumpers and…

Works with epoxy and sanding

As everyone says the glue on these bumpers doesn't last long. However, as I installed them, they have been on my toilet for 1 year without moving and they have worked great. It's all about the preliminary work and the way they are installed. The following approach can be used on all rubber/plastic bumpers, not just these. Installation steps: 1. Use sandpaper to sand the side of the bumper which is attached to the toilet seat.2. Use sandpaper to sand the underside of the toilet seat where the…

Now he is white. But wait!

Adhesive on the back lasts approx. 6 months. I reattached them with gorilla glue which expired after a few months. Looking at the number of comments about glue failure, I think it's because bumpers are made out of a pliable material and every time someone sits on the seat, the material creases, not crumples. I suspect that constant movement will loosen the adhesive. I tried hot glue with a heat gun I picked up at work. Seems to be holding up for several months now. I also have a padded seat…
