Shipping as advertised

This is a very BRIGHT DISPLAY for SPEED. This device just points straight at you no matter what angle you mount it. I wanted it for the GPS compass and speed but it also has a mileage function. Easy to install. Uses a cigarette lighter socket. Calibration at engine start. DO NOT worry about inaccurate compass function after takeoff. If you move the car a little, you will get very accurate GPS compass readings. I love this device and it shows speed almost exactly like my speedometer but without…

I love this thing so far!

I installed a GPS speedometer on the dash to the right of the steering wheel, a great place to see it. I have an XJ Jeep that I just removed the 33" tires from and put 28.5" tires on. Neither size is standard, so the speedo is always off. GPS is the best way to check the speedometer on your car as most have an 8% range. +/- and the tire size makes it much worse. The only thing I don't care is the 24 hour clock where 18:00 is 18:00. if I can change that, that's great! I set it to show voltage…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Operating speed

Broke after a few uses.

I bought this for an old car from the 70's and when I first tried it it worked great. And now, a little over 2 months later, I plug the device into the car after sitting on a shelf in my office and every time I have to watch the screen blink. It seems like it turns on and off multiple times per second. If I turn it off a few times, then turn it back on and let it blink for 10-15 minutes, it works until I turn off the device and then let the process start again. I really wanted to like the…

Smart HUD Display 2.6 " : Realiable COMPASS

Compass windows: N , NE, E, SE, S, etc. Pyle should tell us this in the description. My 2004 Pyle unit fitted with large Altima winter tires showed this now I was driving at 72 mph instead of 70 as my car speedometer would recommend velcro mounting it to the dash. I will. I highly recommend it as a compass. Don't waste your money on a cheap liquid-filled compass .

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Thin

2.6 inch smart HUD display: Reliable COMPASS

1) I bought this because of the COMPASS function. Compass windows: N, NE, O, SE, S, etc. Pyle should tell us that in the description. I now have large snow tires on my 2004 Altima. The Pyle device showed I was traveling at 72 mph, not 70 as the car's speedometer indicated. .4) I recommend attaching it to the dashboard with velcro. I will do that. I can only recommend it as a compass. Don't waste your money on a cheap liquid-filled compass.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Reliability

Compass works! long cord. Bright

Works well. Stupidly easy to install and configure. The cord is 7ft 10in long so you can easily drag it to where you want to put it. The block itself is small, which is nice, but the information is presented in large bright letters. Easily visible even in bright sunlight. Clear and colorful is actually better than pictures. Response to speed changes etc. Faster. I bought it to use as a compass. It shows 8 main compass directions: N NE, S, SW, etc. Doesn't show degrees, or if so, I didn't get…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Doubtful

Bought as a compass

I bought this unit to use primarily as a compass as my new Honda Ridgeline did not come with it. I was able to find it on top of the driver's side dash, which allowed me to hide the wiring under the dash. The speedometer function matches my dash speedometer up to about 45 mph, then it picks up about 3 mph above what the truck's speedometer shows. I have to fiddle with the settings to fix this. After being in the garage all night, it takes about 2 blocks for the device to get GPS data and start…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Compatibility

Compass and speedometer 99% accurate but some annoying features

If I could give the product a 3.5 I would. I've driven it up and down the East Coast, through Texas, halfway through the Midwest and even into Colorado and very rarely have I had less than two GPS satellites showing it's available. As soon as you fall below 3, the accuracy of all functions decreases noticeably. The height feature was the least useful. Both accuracy and accuracy varied widely when driving over the same terrain at different times. Sounds tiring to you when in terms of value for…

Pros
