I just installed this cartridge when my old one finally ran out of toner. I tested it with a regular print page created in MS Word and then printed a black and white test page from Northlight Images. Both sides well printed. Why spend more when this replacement cartridge works so well?

Great printer cartridges at an affordable price! They work like the originals but at a fraction of the price. I waited a few weeks before doing this review to make sure they are really good. I've printed almost a whole stack of paper (mostly double sided) and it looks like there's a lot of ink left because I haven't had any warnings so far. I'm curious how long a cartridge really lasts! Works great with our HP1606 LaserJet for the most part. On one of our computers, every time we printed a print job, an error message appeared, telling us to press the printer's start button. This created an extra page for each print job and was a nuisance. Otherwise good print quality and excellent value for money compared to the price of original HP cartridges. Update: The annoying warnings have been fixed by updating the printer driver. The toner works as well or even better than the original

Update March 27: The problem has been traced to a manufacturing defect. (See second photo.) Returning for exchange. Updated rating to 5 stars based on second cartridge performance. HP is crazy about what they expect from a single replacement cartridge. Original Review: Not sure what the problem is, but will update this review if I can resolve this issue in a very short time.
