If I had to do it all over again I would choose the option that also included the black photo cartridge. I don't plan to print photos so it's fine, but it would be nice to have the opportunity. The printer does not print and uses pure black instead. You need a black photo cartridge if your settings are set to photo paper or photo print as far as I know, otherwise it won't print at all.

Do not buy! I bought this ink for my HP Photosmart 5510 to try and save money on expensive ink cartridges. Installed black ink and completed 2-3 small print jobs. Worked fine, then started printing blank pages. Took it out and put in a new HP cartridge and still printed blank pages. Went to Google/Youtube to troubleshoot and clean printheads. I tried everything and nothing helped. I am returning my printer and am trying to get a refund from the seller.

I ran out of ink for my HP Officejet 4622 and couldn't find ink locally that wasn't in the $50 range, so I decided to check Amazon. I decided to try this set and it was definitely worth it. Like all new printer ink cartridges, they are extremely easy and painless to install. The first few pages seemed to be squeezing out too much ink but I think this time it was a printer error due to a bad cartridge as it disappeared very quickly and great prints soon emerged. These were perhaps the worst products I have ever received from Revain. First, the magenta cartridge was defective, resulting in cyan ink running all over the inside of the printer, printing everything in pink. (as opposed to Pretty in Pink). Second, upon further investigation (as with the NFL) it was found that the first yellow cartridge was also magenta ink.
