My head isn’t big. It isn’t tiny but it’s not big. More on the small size. That being said, the hat fits ok. It’s nice and lightweight.The netting on the color that I got makes it a little hard to see good for meespecially if I use my binoculars. Deer flies a big problem in the mountains where we live this hat and net work very well. I also am allergic to bee stings and I used this hat while burning out a large wasp nest near our porch.

This hat is reasonably well made, and seems like it will hold up for several seasons. I ordered it in navy blue, and the glare from the netting is not bad. The entire hat is made with cloth, no wires. I was surprised to find vents sewn into the outer brim, and a patterned liner with more netting. The vents don't seem very functional, but I wouldn't want to find a bee between the hat and liner either. I'm happy with it.

After reading many reviews on anti-mosquito/bug hats, I decided to purchase this one along with a khaki one made by the same company, but in a different listing. They arrived in the same box, the khaki one in very good shape since it was shipped flat. The navy was rolled up in a bag resulting in wrinkles and a brim with a mind of its own. The khaki netting was too hard to see through for me so I sent it back. I kept the navy one as the netting is easier to see through, but the hat does get hot…

This hat works pretty well for keeping bugs out and the blue color keeps glare down. The brim part of the hat is really floppy and the netting is super long. It's not wide enough to go over your shoulders so I'm not sure why it's so long. Anyway, it serves a purpose!

I wanted to use it as mosquito prevention mask, unfortunately it is little darker than I thought when I used it when the sun was about to set.Under bright sun, it performs well, but mosquitoes are in hiding mode under bright sunshine. -:)

Breathable, lightweight, keeps the sun from beating on your melon and the bugs from bum-bumpin into your face—-and biting you up. Bought the lightest color and it definitely cuts down your field of vision significantly. I plan to use this while gardening but would not recommend walking/hiking on unstable ground with this- your vision is too obscured for a lot of mobility.

Worked amazingly. Son is scared of any thing that flys and buzzes ( bees,fly, beetle ect.) Helped him stay clam and enjoyed the outside.

Hat was fine, it just ran small. I have a small head (female ) and it was snug, not a bad thing it is just if you have a large head , this will not be so great. I would have liked the beak around the perimeter to be larger as it would help keep the screen further away from the face.

I use this type of hat when mowing lawns and working in the garden during the months that mosquitos are the worst. This hat has attached netting which you can roll up and affix to the crown/rim of the hat to use without the netting if it is not needed - but note the netting doesn't come off the hat to be used alone - it is sewn to the crown of the hat. When buying a hat like this, there are 2 things you should think about (that I didnt before ordering)1) Can you see through the mesh?2) Is the mesh comfortable against your face?I appreciated getting this hat for these 2 reasons. It keeps the mosquitoes off but when it’s sunny the netting reflects so much that you have a hard time seeing through it. Other than that this is a great product

Like it fine. Only one complaint, the mesh causes glare when sun hits, and on the trail it wasn’t great for me, I’m 64 and I need better visibility to remain upright 🙂. But, not one big got through!

It keeps the gnats and mosquitos from flying directly into my eyes while I walk the dog every day. It's a simple, convenient solution. I felt like the chin-strap was unnecessary, so I just cut it off and now it's perfect.
