Looks great. Should have done this years ago.

At first I thought the threaded connector was too long. It bottomed out about 1/8" from being flush. I emailed Cravenspeed and they promptly responded with the second photo showing the spacers that came off with the antennas. Sure enough, that was the problem. So, transferred the spacer nuts and "Bob's your uncle".I've never used my radio or CB, so this is a good solution. If I ever start using them or sell the bike, I've got the original antennas that I can put back on in 5 minutes.

Pros
  • No noticeable difference in reception. No big whip on my Goldwing. Win win

  • Limited Reception: The shorter length of the 4-inch CravenSpeed Stubby Antenna may result in poorer reception, limiting your access to various radio stations

2015 Honda Goldwing GL1800 approved

Excellent quality product, nice fit and finish. Doesn't give as much signal transmission as the original OEM antenna but greatly improved the look on my 2015 Goldwing GL1800 - 40th Anniversary Edition. I'm not a heavy FM stereo band listener so I'm still very satisfied. Giving 4-Stars so future buyers are aware of slightly reduce signal reception. Otherwise, go ahead with no hesitation!

fit with no issues 05 GL1800

fit no issues, i really dont use radio often and the original one hit garage door all the time. it is odd not to see the big whip back there but no more hitting door

  • 2006 Honda GoldWing. Wow that was quick and easy. Maybe a minute to change them out. Works great.

  • I get little to no signal but it looks good

Shorter is better in my review

I really like the short antenna. I was super easy and fast to change out. I haven't noticed a loss of reception. Would recommend to others.

Works as well as the big one.

Just bought a Goldwing and got tired of the folding down antenna quick. I took the old one off and put this one on in a few minutes. Just came back from a ride and all the pre-set stations came in perfectly. The first thing I bought for it besides a cover and everything is good to go.

Fast Intall: my feedback

Just unscrew the old antenna and screw this one on. Be sure to move the spacer over onto the new one; very easy to understand when go to replacing it. The antenna works like it suppose it and I had no problems picking up my normal radio stations.

Not terrible good for me

Bought this for my Goldwing bike. I do notice some radio reception being less, but honestly I use blue tooth almost all the time so it is no big deal. The best part is that I got rid of the giant whip style antenna and I still get radio if I want.
