They feel silky smooth!

I dont think they will make you fly better, but they feel great. Very smooth, easy to install, and adjust. Recommended for all pilots, but the experianced pilot will appreciate the difference. A beginner has too many other things on their mind to fully appreciate the smooth precision. Stock gimbals are what I learned on, and would suggest the same for anyone.

  • Limitations: The upgrade kit comes with limitations, and it's not suitable for everyone, as it only fits with Taranis Q X7 radios

Gosh they're smooth - disappointed with the wire length though

I'll tell you what, these suckers are worth the price. They are very smooth and I'm a fan. I was pretty disappointed with the wire length, it's a tad short which is very mildly unsettling but when you flip them, it installs just fine. Other than that, swapping these out with the stock gimbals is very easy and I recommend making the switch.

Feel great, and very easy to install

Feel great, and very easy to install. Removing tension spring for Mode 2 made the spring arm rattle, but nothing that can't be managed.

Pros
  • Pretty good! MUCH better than the stock Taranis Q X7 stock gimbals.
Cons
  • Some users might consider the upgrade not worth the investment since there’s little to no significant improvement in the gimbal movement

Once you get these calibrated to the way you want them, they feel great. They look much better than the standard ones too.

Pros
  • Love these gimbals, very smooth. Highly recommend these for the qx7.

  • The process of installation is quite challenging and time-consuming, making it difficult for people who are not tech-savvy
