Harness of very good quality and easy to use. It attaches to the seat belt and can be tightened or loosened. Easy and safe for my dog!

The resistance that should NOT make this belt's draw length work! In my opinion, the possibility of running from one side of the car to the other and this is very dangerous for several reasons!

My dog absolutely hates this thing! She's also learned to unbuckle herself, so getting her to stay buckled is almost impossible. I think if your dog isn't that smart or determined to avoid safety familiars, this product should work for you! But that's not true for us.

It is very easy for my dog to accidentally release himself from the harness by pressing the button. I don't know exactly how he does it, but he unhooked several times while driving, which is dangerous and distracting. I've had better luck with the clips that attach to the child seat's hinges that he can't reach.

This works well for keeping my dog in the back seat. This is a small dog, around 12 pounds, so he still has room to move around. I was hoping this would keep him in place (so he doesn't stand by the window barking at cars), but the belt doesn't shorten enough for that. Not great for me, but he likes it.

My dog rides in the front and likes to stick his head out the window. I had several fears when I had to stop abruptly. It gave me confidence that he wouldn't fall off the seat. You can adapt to your pet with both more and less room to move. I hooked him by the harness: I probably wouldn't hook him by the collar for fear of hurting his neck.
