Some initial concerns about the security of the investment proved unfounded. These stick together well. I had to drill holes to fit the large key ring, 1/64" from 1/8" to 9/64" but without significantly losing the integrity of the keychain. I would have them again in a heartbeat.. Highly recommended.

I understand from other posts that one or more of these 'may' not last long. I bought the set in black and all I can say is that they appear to be well built and easy to take apart by pushing the plunger but difficult or impossible without pushing it.

I have tried different key organizers over the years and love the concept of these clip on sets. But they were generally of poor quality and broke easily. Not only that, you can't connect them all to the same ring or create something like a starfish shape in your pocket, which is inconvenient. I paid a little more for a higher quality option and they are excellent. They hold well and don't let go when they shouldn't, and let go easily when they should. I bought these for a project so I don't use them for what they are intended for. I fish a lot at night. One half is attached to the bottom of the pole. The other is attached to a long cord and the other end is attached to a landscape spike. I snap them together to keep the rod from falling into the river lake, but when I grab the rod I can quickly release it. It has saved my rod once so far. Since I buy good gear (around 200.00 or more for a good rod/reel combo) I can say that it has paid off.
