Not a bad little tool. There's enough light to find your gear, but for trails I use a headlamp. The radio sound is a bit tinny but clear enough for close range, not recommended for a tailgate. Great addition to the Beetle - a 2 minute switch on lasted 4 hours for the radio and kept the battery low in the bag for days.

I purchased this product for my 90 year old father who was struck by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. To this day they still have no electricity. He uses it every day. He loves the radio very much, listens to it every day, and at night a flashlight is useful to move around the house. If he can use it by 90, that says something about this product.
